The Grassroots Gaming Expo is a three day gaming event that celebrates not only video gaming, but also pinball, tabletop and card games as well as live music and film. There will be a little bit of everything, for everyone, at The Grassroots Gaming Expo.

This years expo is scheduled for August 5-7, 2011 at the Bridge View Center at 110 Church Street in Downtown Ottumwa, Iowa. It’ll be open from 10am to 10pm on Friday & Saturday the 5th and 6th, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday the 7th.

The Grassroots Gaming Expo is all about the love of gaming. The proceeds from this year’s event will go to help fund the International Video Game Hall Of Fame And Museum, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and preserving the history and culture of video gaming.

This event is being organized and ran by Liz and Josh Bolinger, who have several years experience planning and running successful events including the International Video Game Hall Of Fame And Museum’s Launch Party in 2009, which had over 3,500 attendees.

All ticket proceeds from this event will go to the International Video Game Hall Of Fame & Museum, a non-profit organization. For more info on the hall of fame go to: www.ivghof.com

Tickets for the event are:

Basic Package: $20- All Access Badge, customized with your name/gamer tag. (Cut off date- July 22nd, 2011) You will still be able to get the Basic Package, without the customized Badge, up to the event.

Gamer Package: $40- Gets you the Basic Package plus a goodie bag with an Exclusive Event T-shirt (only available here), a limited edition, numbered event poster, and much more! (Cut off date - July 8th, 2011) LIMIT of 250!

Tickets at the Door: Tickets will be available at the door. They will be $25. You will get a non-customized, all access badge.

Children 12 and under are FREE, but MUST be accompanied by an adult with paid admission.
